The death of your web site on search engine.

A while ago, I actually receives news of Google delisting BWM from its search engine result pages. I did a site:www.bmw.de and apparently it was there.

Somehow, I dismissed the news as a hearsay and apparently, it was indeed true. It seems not only Google delisted BWM Germany, www.bmw.de, it also seems to delist Ricoh, german camera maker's web site.

What prompted Google to do such a thing?

It seems that on BMW.de the web site appear normally in visual to the audiences however, it was manupilated when a robot does visit the site. The site apparently seems to have utilized a javascript and redirect the robot. What the robot sees instead is up to 10 times the word of "new car", "old car" in german compared to what a audience visually see is only about 2.

BWM is a prestigious and well known brand. One may wonder why did such a thing happened to BWM Germany. It seems that a black hat SEO company may have been engaged to perform the search engine optimization of the site.

How to select a SEO Company?

Google currently has an entire section devoted to guide companies and businesses to engage the right company. You may take a look at it here
